Block website tools for getting indexed

    Yo hi,

    There are a few websites same as https://scanwp.net/ where people can check what kind of plugins or theme the website is using.

    Is there a way to block such scans for getting indexed?

    Hi Daniel,
    Thank you for the question.
    There is not much you can do about it. You may use a plugin like this
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-my-wp/

    It may have some issues with the setup. My suggestion will be to asses if it is worth the time/security and use if needed.

    Hi Brajesh,

    Thanks for the input, it could certainly be a solution. Although, same as you say, I have experienced a lot of side effect issues with such plugins.

    I will try differently with creating a firewall to certain folders.
