    No worries! 🙂

Yeah I can imagine, but I’m sure a lot of your customers and users will be happy about this feature for sure. 🙂

Fingers crossed it’ll work, since that would be amazing!

No rush! – keep me updated when possible.

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi Katrine,
    Thank you for your patience.

I have tried it. I am sorry but I don’t see a solution in sight.

    Here is what I did:-
    – Only way to truly prevent it would be to check on activity form submission, if anonymous is ‘on’ and has attached media files, we stop the posting and notify the user.

The problem is, I tried using ajaxSend, ajaxPrefilter as well as submit() on form to abort the request. I am able to show the notice but the post still gets published.

BuddyPress does not provide an entry point to stop the request client side and that is preventing me from getting it to work.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hello Brajesh

This is the same issues I ran into when trying to configure it, I also managed to get the “warning/notice”, but without being able to “stop” the activity from posting – and for this reason I ended up with the post anyways.

I appreciate you looking into this for sure.

I’ll just keep a warning notice on the form for now, that activates whenever a user choose to post as anonymous. My members will just have to get used to NOT posting media when they’re posting something as anonymous.

    Thank you anyways! 🙂

    Hi Katrine,
Thank you for the reply and understanding.

Hope you are doing well. That’s the limiting we have to face as 3rd party plugin developers when the base platform does not offer/limit flexibility. I am sorry that we could not help much with it and I am hoping that we will do something about these for sure in future.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hello @sbrajesh

I can’t seem to download the plugins (even though I bought them?).
I deleted it form my site and now decided I wanted to use it anyways.

And now I can’t download ANY of them unless I pay $200 for a new subscription?

This seems crazy since I already paid for these plugins.

    Thanks

    Hi Katrine,
No, you do not need to pay the complete membership fee for a plugin. Our system has an issue with identifying your past purchase and the default behaviour for expired access is to redirect to membership page on clicking download.

I had a look at your purchases and you had purchased 1 month access to the plugins. It expired and that’s why you were not able to download it.

I am happy to provide it via google drive the plugins/versions that you had purchased from us. Please note for future that the access to the plugin download becomes unavailable after the access expires, so you should keep a copy for future use.

Please let me know which of these plugins you need and I will share them with you.

    Regards
    Brajesh
