[Resolved] BP Lock/Unlock – Hide comment "reply" buttons

    Hey guy(s)

    I needed a way to lock “out of control” activities on my site and your plugin works great (applied that bp-custom code so it’s admin-only as well)

    One thing I would really prefer is if a locked activity would not have all of its comments still have the “Reply” button visible

    Clicking a comment’s reply button does nothing (since the parent activity is locked) but this may be confusing to users. In fact, replacing “Reply” with “Locked” would be even better.

    Can I bother annoy you guys to make this tweak?

    I do realize now this *may* be a bp-legacy theme issue, if that’s the case, since I don’t see “Reply” on the screenshots you provide on the download page

    Hello Ralph,

    I have checked the plugin and found no issue as there is no “Reply” button if activity is closed. We filter out the button on this “bp_activity_can_comment_reply” filter. Either this filter is getting modified or not fired up. Please give it a shot with default theme. There might be chance that your theme modifying this.
