Hi Trolinfo,
BuddyBlog is going through a lot of change at the moment. We are including a form builder with it to allow add any attributes. Also, It will work with/Without BuddyPress in future.
In the mean time, I will try to push the one change you had asked me on simple front end post. Please allow me till tomorrow(I am trying it today though) for the change.
Hi Trolinfo,
I have cleaned up the Simple Front end post plugin today. It was in a state of mess. I will implement the post status feature in the plugin by Tuesday.I am sorry to keep you waiting but the BP Simple Front end plugin was in dire need of cleanup before I could add anything to it. Since the cleanup is done, It will be easy now.
Regards
BrajeshHi Trolinfo,
Hope you are doing well.I will be uploading the plugin with support for privacy(public|private) in an hour.
Thank you
BrajeshHi Trolinfo,
Please upgrade to BuddyBlog 1.3.3 and BP Simple Front End Post 1.3.5After that, Please visit BuddyBlog settings and enable the visibility. The visibility will only work when post status is set to publish.

Brajeshhi Brajesh,
this private/public setting for blog posts works really well. Just one thing, when one of the 2 values is set and you reload the blog to edit it at some later date, neither value is set. So you have no idea which one is being currently used. This means, unless you want to set it to private=0 and public=0, you have to explictly set this value every time when you save the blog.
A minor complaint to an otherwise functional feature. 🙂
