BuddyBlog Pro – BuddyBoss – Ability to link and restrict a post to a group

    Hello,

    I would like to use the plugin BuddyBlog Pro to let (buddyboss) members create some post.

    Do you plan to add a functionality where the member can select the group to which the post should be visible (the post should only be visible to group’s members).

    Ps : I’ve found one other plugin that can achieve that but your plugin is much more powerful because we can make multiple “post type”. And that’s exactly what I need… 🙂

    1. Add a dropdown to select the group (when create a post)
    2. Add a menu in the group’s navigation bar to add “blog”
    3. Display and restrict access to those posts (only available to group’s members)

    Hi,
    Thank you for using the plugin.

    We have already started on a Group addon for BuddyBlog Pro(will be freely available with it). We are going for the same kind of functionality(multiple post types to group, scope who can post, which groups have which post types etc).

    It is in early stage of development and I am expecting to have a beta release by the end of this month.

    Hi Didier,
    Thank you for the reply.

    Please expect around 22-24th of this month. We had to spend disproportionate amount of time on another addon of BuddyBlog Pro(Pay Per Post) and that has delayed it.

    Thank you for the patience and checking back.

    We are almost done with it. At the moment, we are working on Group admin settings(having control over types, who can post and other aspects). I am expecting a beta by the end of this week and a final release by the month end.
