    Hi Daniel,
    I was sort of expecting that. BuddyBoss makes the button ineffective outside the directory and profile. The best solution is to ask BuddyBoss either load their script for handling follow on all parts of the site to to avoid making the button no-op.

    Hi Daniel,
    My preferred will be BuddyPress follow plugin but that won’t work with BuddyBoss. BuddyBoss includes a copy of that plugin slightly modified.

    The best solution is to ask BuddyBoss team to allow the button to work outside of the members loop/profile page.
