Buddypress Activation

    This is probably a question for the official Buddypress forum but the response on here has been so great so… Has anyone else had a problem with member activation? I’m not sure if there is an issue with the most recent version of Buddypress but it seems that I have to manually approve all my signups before they can use my site. I’ve considered using the auto-login and activation plugin. But not sure if this will protect from fake accounts. Does re-captcha work with that?

    Hi Keith,
    Thank you for the question.

    The problem seems related to your email delivery(probably users are not receiving activation mail). My suggestion will be to test the email delivery.
    Something like this plugin can help in testing.

    If it is working and the mail is still not being sent, you can enable the wp_mail instead of custom bp email.

    About BP Auto Activate Auto Login, It will work with any recaptach plugin that works on BuddyPress registration page.
