I’m bought the plugin https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-ajax-registration/ and am giving it a test run. It’s very well done, but I need to fix on thing. Immediately after hitting the register button on the registration modal, a small popup screen appears to tell you to go and find your email to ‘activate your account’. The popup flashes on the the screen too quickly and autodisappears.

Can you assist me with changing this small popup to stay on the screen until the user clicks the X to close it?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thank you for purchasing from us.

I am glad that it worked.
I am sorry about that reloading experience. This plugin either redirects to new page(based on settings) or reloads the window. Please allow me till Tuesday to release a new update with the settings to ensure that the contents are visible when the response form server comes.

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi,
    Hope you are doing well.

I am sorry for the delay. Have released the update. Please upgrade to 2.1.3.

If you select “Show Registration response” in the “After registration successful action”, It will keep showing the response unless a user closes it.

    Regards

Thank you! Also I’m new to BuddyDev, which I’m already loving your plugins and community.

How do I update your plugins? I have installed your ‘BuddyDev Dashboard’ plugin – and added the BuddyDev secret key in the plugin’s license settings – I thought having this would find and tell me to update new versions of my BuddyDev plugins, but it didn’t in this case with your 2.1.3. version Ajax Registration Form plugin. If I’m wrong in this regard, what is the ‘BuddyDev Dashboard’ plugin for and how do I safely update the BuddyDev plugins (just overwrite the plugin with the new one? and nothing is lost in the data/database?). Thank you

    Hi Duane,
    Thank you for the post.

Once you add the secret key, Please visit your Dashboard->Plugins page, It should automatically fetch and show you the updates available. BuddyDev dashboard hooks into default WordPress flow and the update will have same experience as any other WordPress plugin(you see a notice of update available, click on it and update).

    Regards
    Brajesh
