Hi, there
Thanks for helping me before.I met an issue when I tried to use BuddyPress Group Widget. Currently, I need to set Group as Hidden Group. But it seems like if I set Group as hidden, in the Group Widget, there is no groups shown in the widget.
So, I just wonder that are there any ways to make Group Widget show like “My Group”? Which means even user is in a hidden group, in Group Widget, it still shows that group.
Thank you very much.
Hi Dandy,
Are you using the default BuddyPress group widget? It is doing it correctly as it does not know about the logged in user’s membership of groups.
Or, are you using something else?Hi, Brajesh
Thanks for your reply.Yeah, I know that. But is there anyway to change that into “the logged in user’s membership of groups”?
I found a plugin in BuddyDev – “BP Extended Group”, but it seems like it still can’t show the hidden group.
Thanks.
Hi Dandy,
I have updated our Extended User Groups plugin to list hidden groups now. Please upgrade to 1.0.2 and let me know if that works or not?
Thank you

Thank you so much for updating!I tried it and it works! Only one thing is that in my site, under each Group Name, there is a label showing the “active xxx time ago” which indicating the time. But when I using the plugin, it doesn’t display. Only left a empty bar.

Thank you very much.
