[Resolved] Buddypress moderation tool is not working.

    Hi

    I am using the BuddyPress moderation tool plugin on my website. I want to use it for custom post type but it is showing an error “can not be reported”. Please check the screenshot https://prnt.sc/va2vh9

    Please fix this issue.

    Hi Virender,
    Thank you for using the plugin.

    1. Please share your order ID as I am unable to find any order associated with account(Is it for a client? If yes, Please share their order id)

    2. Please share a screenshot of your Dashboard->Moderation->Settings->General screen(showing reportable types).

    Can you please check the following.

    The custom post type that you are trying to report is enabled in the “Reportable Type” list

    Yes, it is in the Reportable list. The custom post type is Articles.

    Hi Virender,
    Thank you for the reply.

    There are only 3 possible cases when the above message is shown:-

    1. The post type is not enabled in reportable:- You already have it.
    2. The author of the post is white listed. I do not see anyone whitelisted in your settings
    3. Or the Reportable type is not valid(not registered as active type).

    I am not sure which one of these is happening.

    Can you please grant me temporary access to your server(may be staging server) where I can debug it?

    Hi Virender,
    Thank you for the patience.

    I am sorry for the confusion. We are whitelisting content from Super admins by default. Since you are not on a multisite, all users with “Administrator” role is considered super admin by WordPress and that’s why the error was happening.

    Do you want to allow reporting posts from the super admins too or will you be using authors/editors roles for posting content?

    I want to use the reporting functionality for the author/editor roles. I have checked with these roles and it is working fine.
