[Resolved] BuddyPress Private Message Rate Limiter BROKEN

    I recently purchased the BuddyPress Private Message Rate Limiter plugin and it is not working at all. I just sent 7 messages from my test account in under 2 minutes with the plugin set to 5 messages every 15min MAX. not working at all for me. Is there a fix?

    HI DW,
    Can you please confirm that is it related to reply or the actual messages/ Any chance you were logged in as admin?

    Also, Is it the same as

    My apologies, It was a mistake on my part.
    I am looking at both the plugins. Will have an update in an hour.

    Hi Again,
    I can see the issue. It is a conflict between the two plugins and with the message privacy the reply is an issue. If you disable message privacy temporarily, The rate limiter will work.

    I am working on a fix to make them work together and will update it today.

    -I can confirm i was definitely not logged in as admin.

    OK so i just deactivated the message rate limiter and tried the message privacy plugin on its own and it still has the same issue. Test user A can still receive replies to previous messages From Test User B after User B account has been banned/blocked by User A

    – I am about to Upgrade the Message rate limiter and test that. I will let you know how it goes as soon as i do

    Just tested the new update of Privacy message rate limiter and it is working now. still having reply issue with the message privacy plugin Thanks.
