    PS:- When I had logged to your site, I found that you had some of the fields from xprofile custom field types but the plugin was deactivated, so I activated that again.

    Hi Brajesh, so I have the registration process working again,and the following definitely seem to conflict with the “BuddyPress Auto Activate Autologin Redirect To Profile On Signup” plugin:

    BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager
    BP Custom Background for User Profile
    One User Avatar
    Youzify – BuddyPress Membership Restrictions (BP creates the account but the profile page doesn’t exist and throws 404 error)
    iThemes Security – hide backend feature.

    Do you have recommendations on how to restrict user access/activity by user role? I want free members to have limits on level of profile activity do you know how I can achieve this?

    These 2 do not conflict with auto activate.

    BuddyPress Profile Visibility Manager
    BP Custom Background for User Profile

    For iThemes security, there is a setting that controls login security. That does have conflict and disabling the setting should make it work.

    We haven’t tested with
    One User Avatar
    Youzify – BuddyPress Membership Restrictions

    Will try to do so.

    Can you please tell me specific restrictions you want to apply for free member.
    That will give me the idea to suggest the options.

    Hi Brajesh, thank you so much for the continued support on this, it’s much appreciated. So the One User Avatar definitely conflicts with your plugin, as disabling that allowed it to work. I think Youzify Membership Restrictions is ok, it’s just that their actual settings don’t work.

    So if I wanted to restrict access to BuddyPress based on user role, how can i achieve this? So a subscriber cannot access certain BuddyPress tabs (e.g. Tributes, Media), and for the Free member there is a restriction on activity number, so for example 10 uploads per month. Is this possible?

    We will certainly look at the compatibility issue with User Avatar early next week.

    I am sorry, I am not aware of any such integration for BuddyPress that allows the restrictions(limits on activity etc).

    Hi Brajesh,
    So I’ve been talking to the Youzify people and they say that their plugin conflicts with BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro, so now I don’t know what to do. Both plugins are required because I need to add new tabs and control the content but also control the user access to them.

    I tested the registration process with BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro disabled, and indeed it does work, so this means that those two plugins do not work together 🙁
    Any ideas?

    Thank you for letting me know.

    I am very sorry but I have never heard about this conflict. I am still wondering why registration will conflict with Profile Tabs. They are very different aspects of a site.

    Is it that you are using Youzify for registration? They have a history of not working with most of the BuddyPress plugins. Do you see the issue when Youzify is disabled too?

    Also, Can you please get me more details about the kind of conflict Youzify support is referring to? I will be glad to look into it and resolve.

    Hi Brajesh,

    Apologies for the delay, have been liasing with Youzify. Have now got this working, even with One User Avatar, and all the Buddydev plugins. I gradually added back all the plugins one by one, and the process completes.
