[Resolved] BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types

    Hi there

    I’m using the above plug-in and just wondering if there is any way of restricting what kind of file type and/or size can be uploaded with the file upload field?

    Hi Nik,
    Yes, you can restrict it using the filter ‘bpxcftr_allowed_extensions’.

    There is another filter for size ‘bpxcftr_allowed_sizes’.

    Hi, I investagate to possibility to make user profiles in buddypress based on graviry form registration fields with https://docs.gravityforms.com/user-registration-add-on/#buddypress-integration

    I need comma seperated number fields (gazz/electricity prices in EU format like ‘0,74’.
    I tried to make it with default ‘Buddypress Custom Field Types’ but only round numbers are allowed.

    So will this work with BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types? can teh decimal fields from gravity form be mapped to the ‘BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types’?

    Also I want to make a new grope with a html field to add a shortcode in it. Is that possible too?

    can this contains
    -shortcodes
    -that are not editable by the user?

    @keesjan… I think you might be better off starting your own topic re. your queries rather than adding to this one which relates to custom field type upload sizes 😉

    1. For comma separated number, you will need to use text field and not a number field.
    2. Shortcodes rending with profile tabs pro:- Yes.

    Hi there.

    I think I found a bug!
    BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Field Types (when activated) – Can’t edit profile picture or use Screen Options, help, in user.php.

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for reporting the issue. Yes, the bug was introduced in last update where we limited the registration of our js libraries.

    I will be pushing an update within couple of hours to fix it.
