[Resolved] Cannot ACCEPT friendship requests

    Hi,
    Im just doing final testing on my staging site before pushing to live. wWen a person receives a friend request they can not ACCEPT the request. Is there something in the backend that I need to do for this please?

    Welcome to BuddyDev support forums.

    Can you please send a request to the test account and let me know. I can check why it does not work.

    No, you do not need to do anything in the admin to enable it. You already have the friends component enabled.

    Hi, sorry. I also need to know what url i gave you as I am working on 2 different staging sites. Please could this be answered asap and I cant move forward with the site with the friends request not working. THank you

    Hello Anna,

    Please use the Loco Translate plugin to rename the Friendship subnav item. Please have a look here:

    And to modify the slug use the following code in the ‘bp-custom.php’ file

    
define( 'BP_FRIENDS_SLUG', 'matches' );

    Please give it a try and let me know if it helps or not.
