City/country fields or Conditional Profile Fields for BuddyPress

    Hello @sbrajesh

    I tried a bunch of plugins but they don’t work correctly.
    What I need. Country/city drop-down conditional field in User profile and in Member search.
    Now I use BP Profile Search plugin.
    The user can register himself using dropdown list of country/city.
    Other user can use dropdown list country/city in Members page.
    What could you suggest?

    Hi Max,

    Thank you for the question.
    As far as I understand you are looking for context based dependent country/city list.

    This seems to be achievable on Registration/Profile edit page by connecting 2 select fields and making them interdependent using JS.

    The same strategy could be applied on the search page too.

    I am unable to assist you with the code currently due to other priorities and the time it will need. This should be simple enough for anyone with PHP/JS knowledge to achieve though.

    I will love to revisit it sometimes in future when I add Country field in our BP Xprofile Custom Fields Type plugin.

    Hello Brajesh.

    I know. Could you team make this feature for me for the payment?
    Because now this very important feature doesn’t work in BP Profile search plugin.
