Different subsites require different XProfile custom fields

    Is it possible to network activate BuddyPress, but then activate BuddyPress Xprofile custom field types on a site by site basis? I have a site that I am transferring to a multisite subsite. The site currently uses several unique fields via the Xprofile Custom field types plugin. It is possible other sites in the multisite will need their own custom Xprofile fields. Is it possible to just use the BuddyPress Xprofile custom field types plugin local to a site and not network activate the plugin?

    Hi Pat,
    Unless you use BuddyPress Multi Network plugin(which makes everything separate) or something similar in nature that creates the table for each sites, It is not doable out of the box.

    BuddyPress when network active, will not create different table for different sites. The fields are managed by BuddyPress, so “BuddyPress Xprofile custom field types” will have no effect on this behaviour.
