[Resolved] Disable Activity feed and tab in Member profile

    Hello.
    How to remove/disable Activity feed from the site?
    Also remove Activity tab.
    /member/username link from Members page moves to Profile fields.

    I’m not a programmer. I just can add the code to functions.php.


    @sbrajesh     could you add this function to one of your plugin?

    Thank you for posting.

    There is no need to write any code to achieve this. I will need to know a few more things before I suggest the approach.

    1. Do you want to disable activity completely for everyone on the site?
    2. or do you want to disable the activity view from other users but keep for the user when they visit their own profile?

    Point 1 in your post.
    I sorry for this. But this topic can be useful for other users. Because I tried to find a difficult solution, especially at night.

    To disable/hide/remove Buddypress activity stream you need.
    Admin – Settings – Buddypress – uncheck Activity Streams – Save changes.
