[Resolved] Display problem with BuddyPress extended friendship plugin

    Hi,

    We have installed your BuddyPress extended friendship plugin on our community:

    When you go to someone’s profile to request friendship we first click to bring up the options and then click on request / add friend. At that point the extended friendship popup appears at the top of the screen and only the submit button is visible and you cannot get to the edit field to enter your message.
    Also the first popup whereby you choose which action you want is still there causing some screen overlap – that should disappear when the friendship request edit field pops up.

    It would be best if the popup was much further down the screen and the first popup disappeared entirely.
    We are using your BuddyDev community theme so shouldn’t be a theme problem. I have also turned off WP Rocket caching and still the same issue.

    You still have access to our site – can you please take a look to see what the problem is?
    If it needs some CSS adjustment because of other plugins on our site then we can get WP Buffs to do that for us.

    It is most probably a conflict between our theme and our own plugin.

    Hi Dale,
    It is an issue with the Extended Friendship Request plugin.

    The plugin is not calculating position to correctly position itself. I will release an update for the plugin in next 2-3 working days(It needs some work to allow us reposition left/right/bottom when there is not enough space at top).

    Please upgrade to BuddyPress Extended Friendship 1.2.0

    This should fix the issue.
