    I want to show and hide profile fields based on both the id of the displayer by role and the viewer.

    In other words, if a company pays for expanded fields to be shown, I would manually update their role.
    Then I would like a field set based on that user role to be shown to user roles I specify.

    It seems this function controls that but I don’t know how to use it. Can you help?

    Xprofile/profile field is feature of BuddyPress/BuddyBoss.
