[Resolved] Displaying zip files in documents area giving google error

    My user who uploaded a zip file to their gallery, is getting a “whoops cannot display this image” when you click on their upload.

    I thought they’d uploaded to the wrong gallery, but when I uploaded to my documents gallery, I get the same problem.

    Any ideas of how to fix?

    Hi,
    Yes, I too noted it. It seems the google doc viewer has somehow restricted the viewing of zip.

    I am going to put an update in next 1-2 days where zip files won’t be available as view able but just as an attachment.

    Hi Audiomonk,
    It is fixed in 1.3.1. You can even disable the gogole doc viewer if it does not work(from MediaPress->settings->Themes tab).

    If possible, Please hold on before you update, I am releasing another point release today(We have an issue with the activity lightbox not opening correct image which occurred in 1.3.1).

    Please upgrade to 1.3.2.

    So far so good, I disabled Google doc viewer and it now just shows the file. 🙂
