    With the new BP version, does installing this plugin add capabilities or has it been incorporated into BP plugin?

    yes, you do. BuddyPress does not have live notifications available.

    thank you. As regards all the plugins that budddev offers, are they all still compatible with the latest buddypress and do they all offer functionality which the latest buddypress does not offer?

    Yes, all our plugins are compatible unless they are marked as “Discontinued”. Eeven if the last update date is old, that simply means the plugin did not need any update recently.
