    How do I fix the issue “Loading the group updates. Please wait.”?

    I have this loading issue with all of my groups.

    Hi Rick,
    Thank you for the question.
    This means your server is sending corrupted ajax response. The most probable reason is some code throwing notice/error.

    I will suggest toggling plugins to see if you can identify the source.

    Hi Brajesh,

    The issue was caused by an environment setting in the SiteGround Speed Optimizer plug-in. Under the environment tab is the heartbeat setting. It was switched off by default for the frontend for site performance reasons. I modified the WordPress heartbeat for the site frontend which solved the problem.
