    Hi there,

I noticed this question has asked before, but some message were set to private so I couldn’t figure it out.

    Activity “your stream”: https://cl.ly/6b0eff689bec

    Activity “personal”: https://cl.ly/e6ae79daadca

The “your stream” should look different right?

I also see no change on the activites page.
    Activity with plugin activated: https://cl.ly/ab7890bf62f6
    Act. with plugin deact. https://cl.ly/5e36e7b97b18

    What am I missing?

    Regards, AJ

    Hi AJ,
Thank you for using the plugin.

Can you please post to your group from another user account and then check your activity stream.

The goal of the plugin is to aggregate all activities from user’s own group, friends etc in a single stream. For that to be visible, we need to have activities from other people.

    Please give it a try.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Sorry I don’t understand Brajesh,

The whole stream looks like that. Also with activity from other members.

Or do you mean they need to be in the same group? Now I don’t use groups…

    AJ

    Hi AJ,
No, you do not need the groups. It should show the posts from your network(friends, group if any). It does not show non related content(any content not posted by your, your friend or not in your group is considered non related).

If your friends have posted something and it is not appearing in Your Stream tab, can you pleas tell me if

    1. Is there any other plugin/code filtering activity?
    2. Are you using activity privacy or RT Media activity?

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi AJ,
Thank you for sharing the details.

I think I am understanding the source of confusion. Before explaining, I will suggest doing this

    1. Please post an activity from a user account which is friend with your account.

    2. Now visit your own profile as you and see the Your Stream and personal both. Do you see the difference here?

    Regards
    Brajesh

I think I get it. But layout wise there is no change? It seems different on your site, but that may be due to theme.

Am I right to conclude that the FB like plugin creates an additional stream that is setup to show your own activity and that of your friends?

    Regards, AJ

    Hi AJ,
Yes, you are right. The plugin creates an extra stream with user’s friends and group’s update.

I am sorry for the appearance confusion, It is due to the theme used.

    Regards
    Brajesh
