From/To values profile field type issue

    Hi there, I’m using the From/To values profile field type, with Integers Value Type.

    The problem is that users can add text in these fields, even if the Integers or Numeric Value Type has been selected?

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for reporting the issue.

    The validations are there.it seems, the field type i not able to find field settings for validation.

    Can you please re-check if the value appear on profile data(not in the edit form).

    If yes, Please share the steps to reproduce.

    Hi Brajesh, I did some research and found out that it is possible at registration level to write in letters as values in the fields, and to complete the registration.

    When I later checked the newly created profile the fields are not displayed, and if I go to edit the From/To value, the fields are empty.

    If I put in letters in the fields at this stage, after the profile has been created, I receive an error as expected.

    Hi Brajesh, would it be possible to make drop down select boxes for the From/To values profile field type?

    This could prevent misuse of these fields by predefining the values possible.

    I am sorry, I could not look into it. I will look into the validation within next 2 days and get back to you.
    Also, I am sorry but the dropdown is not in our current plans.
