Gallery Grid view – click on image for lightbox popout

    Hi Brajesh,

    I’m using the gallery shortcode to display the gallery as part of the page content.

    Currently, clicking on an image loads another page, which shows quite a small view of the image, with no ability to zoom into the content.

    Ideally I’d lke for that image to pop out to a lightbox, with the ability to zoom in to the image, since these images are being used for amongst other things map based research, some of them are large and can only make sense if zoomed into.

    Any suggestions as to how to obtain this?

    Hi George,
    You may add lightbox=1 to the shortcode and the lightbox will be enabled for them.

    Also, if you want to do it yourself, we do have a well defined JavaScript API too

    I’ll checkout the API tonight, I added the lightbox code but unfortunately the image in the lightbox is even smaller than on the page, ideally I need to be able to zoom into it.
