Hello, I am having troubles getting the group tabs creator to position the tabs correctly. It puts all of the custom tabs in front of the default BuddyBoss tabs. I would like them to integrate within the BuddyBoss default tabs in the menu.

I have one custom tab set to position 5, but it remains at the top of the menu list. It won’t move down.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Brajesh,

Here is a link to our group menu screenshot. I have two custom tabs created, Getting Started and Book Club. As you can see from the second screenshot, I currently have Book Club set to position 5, but it’s staying in front of the default BuddyBoss tabs, not moving down to position 5.

Any idea how to move this tab to the correct position?

    Thanks!

    Hi Bethany,
    Thank you.
    It makes sense now.

The numbers are not actual position, they are relative value with respect to other navs.

Please try using 12 as the position and it will move below activity feed. BuddyBoss uses 11 for activity feed.

Please let me know if it works for you or not?

    Regards
    Brajesh

What about making a new tab after the subgroups tab. What number would that need to be?

    Hi Deanna,
    Thank you for the question.

The Subgroups has a position set to 20. So, any value after 20 will put the tab after it.

    Regards

    Hi Brajesh,

One more question for you, please see the screenshots below.

When I click on the custom tab called Book Club, it doesn’t highlight the first sub-tab as being the active tab, even though it is. How can I get this sub-tab navigation to highlight correctly?

    Thanks!
    Bethany

    Hi Bethany,
    Thank you for the patience.

    1. Please upgrade to 1.1.6. You can use the group types now to scope the tab settings.

    2. I have yet to test with the default tab hilighting issue. will let you know in next 2 days.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Brajesh,

Just curious if you had a chance to look at the default tab highlighting issue.

Thanks in advance for your help!
