As far as I understood you can add tabs to groups and control the visibility through user role or login status.
I would like to add a tab to a specific group, only present in/visible to members of that group.
Is that possible?Hi Hugo,
We don’t have the functionality to target individual group currently. We do plan to add it in our future updates. Most probably in 2-4 weeks.Thank you
BrajeshOK, thanks. In the mean time: is there a way to achieve this through some custom function?
Hi Hugo,
Here is a good news. You won’t have to wait for 2 weeks. It will be available next week.
I have a question though:- Should we allow the group selection for sub tabs too or will it be fine to allow the selection for tab entry only?
Also, using custom code, I will be in favour of adding it quickly to avoid duplication of work.

BrajeshAFAIK a main tab will do; I guess it would get too complicated if you added subtabs too.
Thank you. Yes, that was exactly my thought. Even though that makes it flexible, It will be a nuisance for the admins.
We will have it next week.

BrajeshHi Hugo,
Hope you are doing well.We have released an update for the Groups Tab plugin and now you can associate it to specific groups.
Please upgrade to 1.0.2 and you can add it form the right side metabox.

BrajeshOne more question: I created a custom page and added it to the group menu. Bit when I click this tab the page pops out of the group navigation. How can I get the page to stay inside the group nav?
Hi Hugo,
Thank you for confirming.About the page linking:- Since you are simply linking to a page, It will go away from the group.
There are 2 ways to implement it without moving away from the group.
1. Put the actual content under the tab itself.
2. Or use the Dynamic content plugin as shown hereHope that one of these strategies work for you.

Brajesh
