It would be fantastic to allow Group Managers the ability to hide and display existing Group tabs. They should be able to do this from the Manage tab.
In my environment, group managers/organizers are the admins of their groups. As the Site Admin I must rename their tabs and add specific tabs for blog and calendar management. I’m okay with that. But it would be nice if the group admin could hide or display the existing tabs, and maybe even rename the existing tabs to fit their group’s needs using a new tab in the Manage area.
Do you think this is even possible? Would it need to be a separate plugin?
