[Resolved] Having issues uploading an image in Activity page

    -Single site
    -I am using BuddyPress
    -Nothing specific about using BuddyPress
    -Wordpress version (5.2.2)
    -BuddyPress version (4.2.2)
    -Theme (Socialize) Version (3.10)
    -Fresh install
    -Issue started as soon as installing Mediapress plugin

    When I upload an image or a video in the activity stream it would say (username) added 1 new photo or (username) added 1 new video. It does not upload the image or the video.

    Example:
    (username) added 1 new photo
    12 minutes ago
    Comment – Like – Delete

    No photo/image or video is uploaded just the time of new upload.

    Hello Naly,

    Sorry for the inconvenience. Please check is there any wall gallery created for the user who is uploading the images. Also check is images are uploading under mediapress directory in uploads folder.

    Yes there is a Gallery page created for the user. The user is myself (admin). Where do I find the images that I upload under mediapress directory in uploads folder?

    Hi Naly,

    Please visit Your Profile->Gallery and click on a gallery. Do you see any image there? Please check in the WordPress Media section too. That will give us an idea if media was uploaded and marked orphan.

    PS:- If a media was uploaded or not can be verified by going to Dashboard->Media screen.
