[Resolved] How to get notification for new topic added in subscribed forum (bbpress)

    Hi there,
    I am using buddypress and bbpress. I got a problem in forum notification. For subscribed forum, I get email for both new topic and reply. But I do not get notification for NEW TOPIC in website profile toolbar (for reply, its working fine). Can anyone help me out please?

    is it related to group forums or normal bbPress forums?

    Are there any group/forums related plugins active?

    Thank you so much for your rapid reply. It is related to normal bbpress forum (I disabled the group functionality from settings).
    Two forum related plugins are active
    1. bbPress – Report Content
    2. GD bbPress Attachments

    Hi,
    I have created a small plugin for you(It does not handle topic deletion yet)
    https://github.com/buddydev/bbp-bp-notify-new-topic

    Please use the plugin and it will work as expected.

    I cannot believe it!!!
    Thank you sooooooooo much!

    I found a little problem there. If I subscribe to a forum and create a topic by using another user, I see a blank page with the following lines (as soon as I refresh my page). But for other users (who did not subscribe), site works fine.
    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function bbp_get_topic_url() in /home1/mg/public_html/ODTU/wp-content/plugins/bbp-bp-notify-new-topic-master/includes/class-bbbp-notifier-component.php on line 45”

    Sorry about that. I was cleaning before update and I had used it for somereason instead of the correct one(bpp_get_topic_permalink).

    Please re download it. I have pushed the change.

    Notification is arriving successfully as “1 new topic”!! But when I click on this, nothing is changing (I believe that notification is not linked)

    Actually it is working fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    One of my admins deleted the topic I created.
