    Hi Anders,
    Do you have any “Lazy Loading” plugin/code enabled for images. It seems that is causing the issue.

    OK. I do not have the Lazy Loading plugin on my site, so that can not be the reson I kan not crop profile pictures

    Hi Anders,
    You were using Jetpack. Is there any chance that you have it enabled in the jetpack plugin?
