Is there any solution to show a profile custom field hovering member avatar/name

    Hi,

    I would like to display certain profile fields (like eye color or age) in a simple tooltip when you hover an user avatar or nickname. This is the closest thing that I’ve found: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-avatar-hover/, but this only show friends and direct message icon… no profile info.

    So is there any solution avaliable to show some of the user profile fields?

    Thank you for the question.

    I am aware that there were 2 more plugins for similar purpose for BuddyPress. You may try searching for ‘hovercard’ on wp.org plugin repo.

    We are also building one for our theme and will be making available for everyone.

    Hi Brajesh,

    I just see a gravatar style hovercard but don’t let me show any profile field. I’ll wait for your plugin then 🙂

    Will be really nice to let the admin control which profile fields will be shown when you hover the avatar.

    We have the option to show role/member type/username etc and the option to select xprofile fields.
