Hi everyone,
We are using MediaPress on our web site, staging link, for example:
https://iceclogstage.wpengine.com/groups/icury/So far we didn’t have big issues but after the latest WordPress + plugins update, seems like we are unable to upload any media. Textual posts are working properly but image posts are not working at all.
This is what we have from MediaPress debugger tool, if it helps.

Could you provide us with any insights on what this might be or how to debug it?
If needed I can provide you with admin access to staging environment so you can examine it on your own. I would need a reliable way to share credentials, not to post them here in public post.Kind regards,
MilanQuick update.
After disabling all plugins and leaving only bare-WordPress + BuddyPress + MediaPress issue is still there. This information might be helpful. So, it is not cross-plugin incompatibility.
Hi Milan,
We haven’t seen any issue like this with the latest WordPress. Please share a guest account and temporary password(please use the private reply option below) on the staging and we can quickly check it.
Thank you
BrajeshHello Milan,
Thank you for the details. It seems you have disabled MediaPress for groups. Please enable it for groups. Just go to MediaPress > Settings > General under Component Settings look for “Enable Galleries for?”. Then give it a shot.
Please do let me know if it helps or not.
Regards
RaviHi Ravi,
Thanks for looking into this.
We were keeping “Enable Galleries for Groups” correctly checked, but the issue was still there. So, this was not the cause of the issue. In any case, for this project, we decide not to use MediaPress anymore. We will continue using other interesting plugins from BuddyDev but we removed MediaPress from our project.
Therefore, I will mark this issue as resolved.
Kind regards,
MilanHi Milan,
Thank you for the details. We appreciate sharing it with us. Marking it resolved.
Regards
Brajesh
