I have a job search/recruitment website and i am needing a specific feature.

My job search website has 2 user roles, candidates (who are free users) and employers (who are paid subscribers who can post jobs)

How can i limit private messaging to employers only?

Essentially, i only want employers to be able to add candidates as friends and initiate chat, and candidates to only be able to accept friend requests and reply to messages.

My website already has an ability to hide candidate pages using the below method;

So i think using the same method would work well.

I know this may be a little complicated, but your help would be greatly appreciated.
