[Resolved] link to Gallery display only photos, Link to Gallery display only videos

    Hi

    I would like to add a video link to my menu, when the user clicks on the video link the Buddypress Gallery page opens with the video filter selected. I would then like to add another link to my menu , when the user clicks the Photo link the Buddypress Gallery open with the Photos Selected.

    Currently I can only link to the gallery with all galleries selected.

    Hoping you can please tell me how to create the link.

    I am sorry but I am unable to understand the question.

    Do you want to link to single gallery pages or something else?

    Currently I have a page with the gallery (mysite.com/gallery) , the user can use the filter to switch between video and photos on the gallery page

    I would like to create a link called videos that when the user lands on the gallery page the videos are displaying and another link called photos and when the user lands on the galley page the photos are showing.

    Can you explain how I create these links.

    Example: mysite.com/gallery/??

    Hi Darren,
    Thank you for clarifying.

    At the moment, the gallery directory does not have type based permalink filter. The filtering ahppens on directory using ajax.

    On the user profile, there is a type based filter via url.

    Since you need it on directory, there is a way to do it. Using shortcode. Please see
