Logout Redirect to Mainsite for Multisite/BuddyPress confusion

    Hi Brajesh, there is a bit confusion about what the plugin ‘Logout Redirect to Mainsite for Multisite/BuddyPress’ actually does

    As the title of the plugin says, it ‘Logout Redirect to Mainsite’, but the descriptions further states that it ‘Redirect user to their profile when they login’

    Does it do both?

    You are offering two other similar plugins for login and logout redirect.

    Redirect to profile
    Logout redirect

    Which solution should I use?

    Hi Carsten,
    Thank you for the question.

    The logout redirect is for WordPress multisite. It doe snot redirect to profile. The description is incorrect.

    Please use Login redirect instead.

    Hi Brajesh, thanks for the clarification, so the logout is for multisite only?

    Should I then additionally use ‘Logout redirect’ for single site?

    When I deactivate the plugin, I’m redirected to home page per default, which I assume is main site, so what does the plugin actually do?

    The plugin was meant for a multisite(WordPress MU at that time) where if a user logged out from a sub site, they would be redirected to the main site’s home page. It should have no effect on normal WordPress install.
