    I went to the magic demo link and it seems it’s infected with spyware etc.

    Hi George,
    I am sorry but did you see “No input file specified.” message?

    The BP Magic demo has been down since we moved the subdomain demos to another VPS. The message is standard nginx message when the web server is unable to find path.

    We will have a new demo back in a week or two.

    I accessed the link and it told me I had a chance to win an Iphone 7, then took me to a dodgy link, when I quit this it came up with a warning that I had been infected with a virus and told me to contact “Microsoft” via a phone number they provided etc. all very suspicious.

    Yep it was that link, I clicked on it and at first it told me I had to fill out a user questionnaire about Firefox, then it offered me a free IPhone and then told me I had a virus and to call that “Microsoft” number.

    Hi George,
    I am sorry but the demos.buddydev.com is hosted on a VPS and there is almost no chance of it having any virus. I tried it from separate systems(both linux) and Android tab and I don’t see any issue like virus at all.

    Most probably, It could be that your browser is infected and clicking on links is causing that issue. Then still, I wonder why did it only happen with that particular link.

    Yes, and it does not do that now, so a bit of a strange one.

    Well, in that case I am closing this topic. It issue seems to be unrelated to the demo.
