Make 'Default Activity stream' show 'updates' instead of 'everything'

    On the site-wide activity page (or under activity tab in buddypress profile), I want to show ‘updates’ as default. At present the default activity stream shows ‘everything’. I have to select ‘updates’ from the drop-down filter.

    But I want to show ‘updates’ (along with mediapress activities, if possible) instead of ‘everything’.

    Possible? My site: http://www.bohubrihi.com and I have latest versions of everything installed.

    It looks very messy when it shows literally ‘everything’ on the activity stream.
