Mediapress and categories

    Hi, how do you add categories and tags for the users images, and then make a search basef on categories?

    Hello Edman,

    Welcome to the BuddyDev Forums. There is one plugin for applying categories on MediaPress Galleries and the same categories will be set on media as of gallery. You can list them on the galleries directory page.

    Thanks for that tips Ravi, but we we need to put categories on each image. Also searching did not work at all.

    Hi Bjorn,
    At the moment, the MediaPress plugin is aimed at User media(BuddyPress) and lacks the ability for classification of media by terms.

    Since the media is just WordPress post attachment, you can implement a solution on your own using custom taxonomy.

    You will need to implement a proper UI for the same.
