I’m not sure if this is meant to retrieve thumbnails for display of Youtube videos, but if it isn’t then it would be great if it did. If it is meant to show them, then it’s not doing it.
The more I look at it as I type this up, the more I think that it isn’t trying to get a thumbnail.
If it does get an update to show thumbnails, then it would also be great if the album cover would use the thumbnail of the first video as the cover.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for the suggestions.The vdeo embeds from Youtube/vimeo etc are oembed and they should show the preview. We are not fetching the thumbnail directly, we use WordPress to fetch the markup for oembed and that has the preview.
Fetching thumbnail independently and using a cover for album is a good idea and I am adding it to our feature list.
