[Resolved] Mediapress conflict with Buddyboss Media

    Hi Brajesh,

    I am using the Boss theme on my buddypresss site and therefore use also the Buddyboss Media plugin. Buddyboss Media integrates naturally very well with the theme and allows commenting and liking but it has very limited features – no video upload, etc. I am currently testing Mediapress to add it to my site for the video upload, galleries, etc. Unfortunately Mediapress kills the Buddyboss Media lightbox. Even if I disable the Mediapress light boxes and css, js output it still makes the Buddyboss Media lightbox disappear. It doesn’t show up anymore. Do you know how to fix this conflict without sacrificing the Mediapress light boxes and styling?

    Hi Bjoern,
    Thank you for posting.

    I am not sure what might be causing it. The bb Media is a paid plugin and I am in no position to help. Please ask the BuddyBoss support and let me know what they say?

    Hi Brajesh,

    The Buddyboss support fixed it with some custom css for their photo lightbox:

    body.ps-active {
    overflow: visible;
    }

    This luckily fixed the conflict and the lightbox is visible again. Thanks.
