[Resolved] Mediapress Permalinks

    Hi all,

    Is there away to shorten the permalinks on Mediapress?
    I’ve got some really long URL’s due to mediapress using the whole folder name in the URL,
    Maybe this could be added as an extension to Mediapress?

    Hi Ben,
    Welcome back.

    To shorten the permalink, you will need to modify the slug for the uploaded files. We have done it in past for title and filename.

    I or Ravi will pack it as a small plugin and make available in next 3-4 days.

    I might have misunderstood the question earlier.

    Can you please try this

    and see if it helps in any part?

    Also, if you mean shortening the file url like http://example.com/uploads/mediapress/1/2/abc.jpg
    Then it is doable but will break all the past uploads.
