[Resolved] MediaPress Plugin – How Do I Stop Video Uploads?

    Hi Brajesh,

    A quick question about mediapress plugin…

    Is there away I can stop video uploads unto my server but still allow the users to use videos from youtube and vimeo in the gallery?

    I just dont want videos loaded unto my server to conserve space on my server.

    I still want the users to be able to upload images to share in the gallery area

    Hi Propertytips,
    In the current release you can disable the remote url but not the local upload.

    I will add this option in our next release.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

    I look forward to next update as I am sure its a feature a lot of people would like… Even seen some comments on the wordpress site looking for the same feature.

    I notice that the mediapress 1.4.4 update has been released today. Could you please advice if there is now a way to stop video uploads unto my server but still allow the users to use videos from youtube and vimeo in the gallery?

    Hi Propertytips ,
    I am sorry, this update does not include the disable local option. It contains a compatibility fix for BP Nouveau template and a few other things.

    I am adding the disable local upload in next update.
