    Hi,

I just purchased the Mediapress – s2Member Storage Limit Plugin and installed it on my site. I’m not sure if I’m missing a critical step, but the storage limits aren’t working for me. I have users at 3 levels: level 0, level 1, and level 2, and I want to set the limits to 0, 20 MB, and 1000MB, respectively (galleries are disabled for level 0).

However, the settings under add-ons aren’t working for me, and it appears that the limits for all of the levels are being driven by the value in the Storage limit for Membership Level #4 field.

As a follow-on question. Once I get this functioning, is it possible to hide existing media in the galleries of s2member level 1 members that is already in excess of the 20MB? Ideally, I’d like the hidden media to become viewable again if the user upgrades to level 2.

Thanks in advance for the support.

    Hi Marcie,
    Welcome to BuddyDev forums.

Thank you for purchasing the plugin. Please allow me to look at it in a moment.

I am sorry but hiding already uploaded over quota media by storage will not be feasible. It will be way more complex to do it for the existing media. Sorry about this.

    Regards
    Brajesh

    Hi Marcie,
I have tested it and it seems to be working fine for me.

Here is a screenshot when I set the Zero level(subscriber) to 0.

And here is what I see from activity upload.

is there a chance that you were logged in as a user whose role has better capability.

Can you please try this again?

    Thank you
    Brajesh

    Hi Brajesh,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, unfortunately I’m still running into the same issue. Please see the screenshots for settings (https://imgur.com/a/k8Jgb) and profile – gallery tab (https://imgur.com/a/SiF3L). The user in this screenshot has level 2 access. If I change the level 4 access limit to 1000 MB and leave the rest as shown in the first screenshot, the user limit on the front end for that level 2 user changes to 1000MB. Similarly, it doesn’t matter what I put in the field for s2member level 2 limit, it reflects whatever is in the field for level 4 access limit.

    Hi Marcie,
    Thank you for the details.

May I ask if you are logged in as admin and visiting the user profile for checking this?

No, I was logged in as a user at s2 level 2 in a separate chrome incognito window.

    Hi Marcie,
    Thank you for confirming.

Will it be feasible for you to allow me test it on the site? From your list of plugins, I don’t see any plugin causing conflict.

I am also using the same version of s2 members, so I am not sure what is causing it. If possible, Please allow me temporary admin access to the site. I will like to test it and wil hopefully find a reason/solution.

    Thank you
    Brajesh
