Moderation plugin does not hide the post/comment

    Hello,

    I just installed and tested the moderation plugin and enabled auto-moderation.

    Unfortunately the posts are still activated immediately. They appear in the queue and in the plugin is the following message:

    “A new activity comment was posted on the site. Please moderate.\”

    Type: BuddyPress Activity Comment
    Total Reports: 1
    New Reports: 1
    State: Hidden
    First reported on: September 7, 2023
    Last reported on: September 7, 2023″

    Nevertheless, the post appears immediately. Is this due to the theme? What are the options to force moderation?

    1. Is there any chance you are checking the comment as site admin? We do not hide activities from site admin on the front end.

    If no, which theme/template pack are you using?
    Please share the details and I will assist.

    Hey Brajesh, thanks for the quick reply.

    I checked it as several non-admin users.

    I use the VIKINGER wordpress theme and I am almost 100% sure it’s because of the theme. I guess, there is no way to make this moderation working.

    Thank you for the prompt reply.

    I am sorry, we had issues with VIKINGER in past. The theme is nice but has too much customizations which does not follow standard BuddyPress structure/queries/hooks.

    I will issue your refund in in next 15 mins and reply as I am not sure how much vikinger has changed recently(and if it allows hooks to add compatibility or not).

    I will reply back after issuing the refund.
