Multiple forums with separate user groups on same site.

    Overall BuddyPress question: Is it possible to implement two forums on the same site with separate (not shared) users/registration?, meaning: a forum “A” with user accounts separate from a forum “B”? One would be a restricted access forum on a login required area of a site, one more open, but the user bases would be separate not stared, etc. User crossover unlikely between the two, but would need separate account registration, so they don’t have access to the restricted forum by creating an account on the more general forum.

    Just wondering if there’s a solution other than needing to house them on separate sites/directories. Thanks!

    Thank you for the question.

    Even though you can achieve it by using multisite, BuddyPress and BuddyPress Multi Network I will opt for 2 separate installs of WordPress if there is nothing in common.
