[Resolved] Nextgen Conflict

    Hi,

    i’ve found a very strange und disturbing conflict: Buddypress and Nextgen seem not to work together (some versions ago they did). After activating the nextgen Plugin the “edit profile” site doesn’t work anymore – instead the “group” side appears.

    (By the way: also the slider in my tested theme “protopress” stopped working after activating Nextgen)

    Any ideas what i can do?

    Hi,
    Which version of the plugin and theme you are using?
    I installed nextgen gallery, protopress theme and tried but could not reproduce the issue.

    Can you please tell me how to reproduce it. Will be happy to help.

    i found something about this phaenomenon in the nextgen forum (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nextgen-issue-with-buddypress-edit-my-profile-link-links-to-group-webpage?replies=8) and solved it temporarily the way described here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/nextgen-messing-with-buddypressbbpress-urls?replies=8

    Thank you for posting. I am glad you got it resolved. I had that filter because MediaPress was active, so may be that’s why I did not notice that.
