None gallery Images are not showing in main Activity stream

    Only the Gallery of images appear in the main activity stream. When someone uploads an image via their personal activity stream, nothing appears in the main activity stream when viewed as a logged in member of my site.

    I hasten to add, that I am testing this plugin on a Test site.

    Hi,
    Is there any way that the default privacy is set to Non public in the MediaPress settings? That seems like causing this.

    Hello. Many thanks for a speedy reply.

    The Privacy Settings> Default status for Gallery/Media Is set to Public. There is no Non public, just Public, Private, Logged in users only, Friends only and Group only.

    I have a custom built theme, which may not help. I have just done a further upload of images via the little grey box in my test member profile and that image is not even showing in my gallery wall, yet it can be seen in the main library of images in the Admin Dashboard. Hope this makes sense.

    I am having the same or similar issue. It allows me to select the image, but when I post the message to the group it does not display on the post, but the image does get added to the main gallery. I have everything set up as public for right now.

    Advice?

    Hi David,
    Welcome to BuddyDev.

    It is most probably to do with something modifying your “bp_activity_entry_content”

    Please open a new topic and let me know the following.

    1. Are you using a custom theme?
    2. Are you using other gallery plugins with MediaPress?
    3. Please share the MediaPress gallery debug info in a private reply.
