Philopress Members Map Plugin

    Yesterday we discovered that the page on our Buddyboss site containing the Members Map was broken – no map and the layout displaying incorrectly with elements missing and spacing incorrect. We removed the block containg the Members Map shortcode [membersmap show_filters=”yes”] and the layout returned to normal. When we replaced the shortcode and attempted to save the page we got the error message “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”

    Is this issue a result of the ownership change or some other factor?

    Be grateful for some guidance, thanks!

    Hi Geoff,
    Thank you for your patience.

    The issue was due to incompatibility between member map and the new release of BP Xprofile Location plugin.

    1. I have updated BuddyPress Xprofile Location for BuddyBoss compatibility
    2. You will still need access to the member maps plugin(modified) for compatibility with BP Xprofile Location 5.0 +

    Let me know if I should share the updated plugin via google drive(we have not released it on BuddyDev yet, planning for next week).

    Hi Brajesh,

    The page loads properly now and some searches work but others result in the layout breaking as before and the error message “There has been a critical error on this website.”
