[Resolved] Plugin has no effect anymore since updated to BP 3.2

    Hi,

    I have figured out that the BuddyPress Extended Friendship Request Plugin has no effect since we have upgraded to BuddyPress Nouveau V 3.2. I don’t know if it is because we also upgraded the Theme to “Nouveau”. Therefore it could also be the new Theme upgrade is blocking the plugin to work.

    Might you have any suggestions on this?

    I very much liked this plugin and it would be cool to make it work again.

    Yo hi,

    Also the MediaPress Featured Content Plugin has no effect since the upgrade.

    Hi Daniel,
    MediaPress Featured Content is tested to work with MediaPress 1.4.3 and it is not affected by BuddyPress. If it is not working, Something might have changed at your site.

    AS far as Extended Friendship is concerned, I will need to test it today and get back to you.

    Hi Brajesh,

    Thank you for coming back on this.

    I have realized that I have to set up the “MP Featured Options” backend and all is working very well as it should. My Apologies for that.

    Only a little bug I have discovered: Under MediaPress Addons Dashboard, when unticking the

    Downloadable Media Settings
    Allow Downloading for?

    Photo
    Video
    Audio
    Documents

    then after clicking “SAVE” it shows all boxes “ticked” again, but unticking has effect on frontend after saving.

    I am updating the thread for anyone else looking for Compatibility of the BuddyPress extended Friendship with BP Nouveau. These are compatible now.
